Aurea Olea is the story of a family rooted in the fertile lands of Ayvalık, living in harmony with olives for five generations.

Its name comes from the union of aura the gentle breeze essential for olive trees to thrive—and aurea, meaning “golden,” reflecting the rich color of exceptional olive oil. Together, these words express our deep connection to nature and our commitment to pure quality.

Our family’s journey with olives began in 1923–1924, following the population exchange that brought us from the island of Lesbos to Ayvalık. The olive trees we planted in these lands became more than a livelihood; they became our memory, our sense of belonging, and a legacy passed down through generations. Today, as fifth-generation custodians, we carry this heritage forward with the same care and responsibility.

Shaped by Ayvalık’s unique climate, fertile soil, and traditional production methods, our olive oils stand out for their natural character, balanced aroma, and refined taste. Every drop reflects the land it comes from, our family’s history, and our respect for the olive tree.
